Understanding Dyslexia

The term “specific learning disabilities” refers to an array of learning difficulties due to abnormal development of the brain, which usually results in significant problems in listening, speaking, reading and writing. The most common form of learning disability is “dyslexia” – a difficulty in word recognition, dictation, spelling, reading comprehension and written language processing. Some schoolchildren may also have difficulty in numerical processing.

Give Visible Blessings for an Invisible Disability

Are you aware that, through donation, you can bring visible blessings to needy students with dyslexia?

Pathways strives to provide learning support, assessment and therapy services to children with dyslexia through professional and evidence-based intervention programmes, help them bridge the learning gap and rekindle their interest and confidence in learning.

As a registered charitable organization, Pathways is operating on a non-profit making basis, while raising funds to provide course fee subsidies to students with dyslexia from low-income families.

We sincerely hope that you can support the work of Pathways, lend a hand to build the bridge and send your blessings to dyslexic students with financial difficulties.
